Sponsorship

A Sponsorship Licence is a licence for companies based in the UK to bring employees to the UK from another country, including Turkey.
If you already have a business in the UK, or are thinking of starting one, you can qualify for a Skilled Worker Visa by having your own company sponsor you.
The licence holder can employ the skilled worker on a short-term, long-term or permanent basis. The employer decides the length of the employee's visa (he/she can apply for a visa for a maximum of 5 years at a time). The employer can re-apply to extend the visa of the employee(s) if they wish. Under this visa type, the Qualifying Employee and their dependants, if any, are eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain and subsequently citizenship at the end of 5 years if they fulfil the necessary conditions.
Sole traders and limited companies in the UK can apply for this licence.
There is no minimum turnover requirement for the company to apply, only that it must not have had a Sponsor Licence cancelled within the last 12 months. Although there is no turnover requirement, we recommend taht the company has over  £38,000 in the company account, which  is one year’s salary of the first worker to be brought in.
The person setting up the company must have a B1 English certificate from a Home Office approved organisation must be taken.
Additional/Second Job: Working less than 20 hours per week and outside the hours of the main job; the Skilled Worker (i.e. the owner of the company if a company is established) can do additional work that falls within the occupational code specified in the Sponsorship Certificate or Shortage Occupation list, and does not need to inform the Home Office.
Sponsorship Licence - Skilled Worker Visa Procedure
Step 1 -
Document Preparation Process (2-4 Weeks): In order to manage the process after the agreement, we will set up a Whatsapp group with our entire team as our London Office and Istanbul Office. You will always be able to reach us during working hours. After the group setup,  the list of documents required for Sponsorship Licence and Skilled Worker Visa session procedures will be shared with you, and as you upload documents to our system, the updated document list will be sent to you at regular intervals.

Step 2 - Company Incorporation (if there is no existing company in the UK), Preparation of Tax and Corporate Bank Account of the Relevant Company (6-8 Weeks):
Detailed document list will be shared by us when the process starts. Depending on the characteristics and fields of activity of the company, the documents to be  submitted  vary,  however, firstly, the basic information of the company is provided (PAYE No, VAT No, company bank statements, etc.), followed by other information about the company (job  code,  working hours, minimum salary, qualifications sought in future employees, etc.).

Step 3 - Applying for a Sponsorship Licence for the company sponsored by a UK Citizen or someone with Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK (8 Weeks): If the Home Office accepts the licence application, a type A licence will be granted. With this licence, it is possible to obtain work and residence permits for up to 10 workers.

Step 4 - Skilled Worker Visa Application (4-5 weeks):
The worker to be brought in must be committed to a gross annual salary of around £38,000 and the worker must obtain a B1 level English certificate from any of the institutions approved by the Home Office. At this stage, the worker can apply for a visa for up to 5 years and can bring their family to the UK as dependants. The Home Office has listed the professions that can be brought   to the UK and the worker must be a member of one of these professions. It is important to note that the times given above are approximate and there is a possibility that   the process may be longer or shorter depending on the intensity of Home Office applications.
